BELT EXAM

Belt exams are a system of examinations that allow an athlete to progress from white belt to black belt. They experience and learn a wide range of skills, which ultimately helps them become both a great athlete and a great teacher.

KUMITE

Kumite, meaning "sparring," is one of the three main disciplines of karate, along with kihon (basics) and kata (forms). In kumite, two karate practitioners (karatekas) engage in simulated combat, applying their learned techniques of attack and defense against a real opponent. Kumite develops practical application, assertiveness, and control, with full contact being prohibited.
